In their own words, how would your Pyr tell their story?
I was found starving and emaciated. I was so scared and could barely walk. They took me to a place with a lot of other dogs, and my mom worked there. She took really good care of me and brought me back from the edge where I was teetering. On the day I was going to be put up for a new family to come get me she called my dad and said " get your a$$ up here NOW and get this baby home!!" And of course he did, and I got to meet my brother and sister Aussies. I weighed 47 pounds when I was found, now weigh 95, have so much love, good food, acre yard to run in and a soft place to sleep, and even have these alien beings called cats for friends. I love to play! Chasing the other dogs and rolling in the dirt, and coming inside and making a mess is the greatest thing! Everone loves my dark ears and eyes! I bark at the joggers that run by my house and they just smile and say "hey Hannah!" If there is a dog lottery I won it. My pyrents say they won it to when they got me, and say I am the sweetest girl ever.
Terie is the vet tech at Rowan County animal hospital. All 4 of our dogs, and 6 cats are rescues
