In their own words, what is your Pyr's inspirational advice?
Never give up hope on finding a safe loving home ❤

In their own words, how would your Pyr tell their story?
I was a victim of Hurricane Helene in Western NC. When I found my forever Dad a couple of weeks post-storm, I was covered in mud, emaciated, injured, and Lyme positive. I was running out of time to find help. My Dad fed me a pack of hamburger buns (all he had with him then), brought me home, made me a safe bed, and I slept 14 hours straight. My Mom took me to the vet to see if I was microchipped (I wasn't) and to get me the care I desperately needed. No one looked or came for me, but it was meant to be, as I had found my forever home. Now I spend my days with my two little/big sisters, a Maltese and a Cavapoo. We are now an inseparable trio. I have a large fenced-in yard to play in, but I prefer my couch and air conditioning. I am working hard and making significant strides in moving past my trauma. I am becoming more confident, and my Mom and Dad hope to love me so much that I forget the bad things about my past. I show them how I feel with my constant smile.

I was named Chelsea by my Pyrants granddaughter, and my Dad gave me my middle name Rain as the storm washed me to the family that was meant to be mine! ❤️
