In their own words, how would your Pyr tell their story?
Hi, I’m Spud 🥔🐾, and this is my story.

Once upon a time, I was squished in a kennel way, waaay too small for me. Seriously, my legs were like pretzels. I sat out front of a place called A New Lease on Life (which, spoiler: was exactly what I needed). A kind lady came and fostered me, but, uh… her cats and I didn’t see eye-to-eye. (To be fair, they started it. Probably.)

That’s when I met my person. At first, I was kind of a hot mess. I hated being alone, I barked at other dogs on leash, and one time I got so excited I dragged my human down the street like a sled dog in the Iditarod. We were the same size, okay? Science says that’s not my fault.

But then something happened. Someone wanted to adopt me. They said I’d be a surprise gift for his soon-to-be wife. So my human and I knew our days together were numbered. We went big — hiking mountains, eating juicy steaks, smashing pup cups like champions. It was the best time ever, but then… it was time to say goodbye. My human cried. (I pretended to be tough, but my heart hurt too.)

Here’s the twist: a few days later, the adopter called crying, too. He couldn’t keep me. He asked for one night to say goodbye, and then I was back in the car with my human. Officially? We broke all the rules. The contract said the adopter had to foster me until I found another home. But my human didn’t care. Because deep down, we already knew: I was home.

Now? I’m living the dream. When friends come over, I greet them with a signature Spud Chest Bump™. If my human dares to stop petting me, I bonk her hand with my nose until she remembers her job. I patrol the pool like a lifeguard while she floats, and at night, I sprawl diagonally across the bed because, well, there’s no such thing as “too much space” when you’re a potato dog.

I wasn’t the easiest pup to love at first. But my human never gave up on me — and that’s why I finally got my real forever story. 🐶❤️🥔
