In their own words, how would your Pyr tell their story?
I'm Dublin (2018 CGPR-alum Bulma) and I came from Georgia where I lived outside all the time in not so great conditions with a lot of other dogs who were being used for breeding. Luckily I was still pretty young and had not had any litters yet. But I was afraid of EVERYTHING inside a house. My wonderful fosters Rose and Stephen spent so much time helping me learn that being inside a house wasn't so scary and was actually pretty lovely.

I joined the Haygarths in 2018 at about 2 years old as a succession plan for my new big brother, Codi, who was as big as me but brown and black. I ended up doing such a good job Codi lived for several more years and I sneakily turned the Haygarths into a two-dog family ;)

When Codi passed mom and dad were looking out for a big brown doppelganger. Even though CGPR is mostly Pyr exclusive, they knew we wanted another big brown guy and they matched us up with my new roommate (we're NOT BFFs, but we tolerate each other sufficiently) Guinness who was going to be put down immediately if someone didn't pull him from animal humane. CGPR pulled the 65 lb version of the tall and long big brown guy for my mom and dad and coordinated his hand off a week later after putting a few pounds on him. Now we play together occasionally and have the Haygarths locked in as a two-dog family forever - insert evil laugh.
