The Carrie A. Seaman Animal Shelter (aka CASAS) has partnered with The Provincetown Brewing Company for an exciting fundraising opportunity where your pet can grace the label of a special edition brew!
From 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, June 30, 2022 through 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, August 22, 2022 proud pet parents can submit a photo of their furry friend and a simple sentence as to why their pet should be featured on the label of a special edition brew. Each submission costs $10.00. The winner is selected through online voting which costs only $1. The contest is open to all: those from the cape, those that have visited and those that would like to visit. PBC beer and hard seltzer may be ordered here:

Winner of the label contest will be announced on September 18th at a kick off party for Provincetown's Pet Appreciation Week at the Provincetown Brewing Company. Pet appreciation week will include the annual Blessing of the Animals at the Church of Saint Mary of the Harbor, the Commercial Street Pet Parade and the Boat-slip "Pet Tea" where guests will be celebrating the special edition brew featuring the winning pet on the label!
In addition to being featured on the label of a Provincetown Brewing Co. special edition brew, the winning pet will also be included in publicity and promotional materials surrounding pet appreciation week.
CASAS board president Sherry Brec said that the label contest is one of the more unique fundraising effort's we've undertaken; "
we are so grateful to the Provincetown Brewing Co. for making this happen at a challenging time for nonprofits." Many, many, many thanks to the Provincetown Brewing Co. as all proceeds from the label contest will benefit CASAS, a 501(c) 3 charitable corporation.
Prize
The Grand Prize-winning pet photo will have their entry image, as rendered by a graphic designer, and pet's name featured on the labels for the 2022 Provincetown Brewing Co. CASAS Brew beer. The CASAS Brew beer is a limited small batch production by Provincetown Brewing Co., in Provincetown Massachusetts. The Grand Prize winner will also receive one case of 2022 Provincetown Brewing Co. CASAS Brew beer.
The Grand Prize-winning pet photo will be selected by the photo receiving the most votes. If there is a tie, judges from CASAS and the Provincetown Brewing Co. will select the winning entry.
Winner Notification and Prize Awarding
Winner of the label contest will be announced on September 18th at a kickoff party for Provincetown's Pet Appreciation Week at the Provincetown Brewing Co. 141 Bradford St, Provincetown, MA 02657
If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, CASAS and the Provincetown Brewing Co. will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner among remaining eligible entries with the highest number of votes.
