Official Photo Contest Rules
ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
- ELIGIBILITY
Provincetown Brewing Co. and Carrie A. Seaman Animal Shelter Label Contest (the Contest) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least twenty (20) years old at the time of entry. The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Winners and finalists must be twenty-one (21) years of age by September 17, 2023, to receive beer prizes. Previous Winners of the label photo contest, members of the CASAS Board of Directors and their families, employees of the Provincetown Brewing Co. and their families are not eligible to enter submissions.
- SPONSOR
The contest is sponsored by The Provincetown Brewing Company, business office located at 141 Bradford St, Provincetown, MA 02657.
- AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES
Participation in the Contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
- CONTEST PERIOD
The Submissions and Voting Period starts at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, June 25, 2023 and ends at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, August 15, 2023. Entries that are submitted before or after the Submission Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be only be accepted online.
- HOW TO ENTER
Online: This method of entry will be available by visiting our contest website (
https://www.gogophotocontest.com/casasanimalshelter) and following the directions provided to complete the entry information, and submit. Submissions are accepted during the Submission Period only.
There is a $10 cost to enter your pet. You may submit as many entries as you like.
Photo submissions must be of pets. All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants.. Your pet does not have to be adopted from CASAS to enter. Photos must contain only pets – no humans.
Photos should be in focus, clear from obstruction, and of high quality, in either .jpg or .png format. Photos must not be altered, other than minor adjustments to contrast, brightness, white balance, etc. Photos should be a close-up of the pet, try not to submit photos where the pet is off in the distance.
If you choose to submit a photo featuring more than one of your pets, please be aware that the contest prizes are for one pet only, so you will have to choose one pet in the photo to be the recipient of the prizes.
Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, obscene, etc., as determined by CASAS and the Provincetown Brewing Co., will be removed from the contest with no refunds. Once entered, CASAS may use the photos for print and digital marketing purposes, including social media. Contestants retain the rights to the photos.
- VOTING
Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote. Votes are unlimited. We encourage you to share your contest page link with family and friends through email and social media encouraging them to vote for your favorite contestant's photo.
All donations for votes are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Only online donations made through the contest website will be accepted as votes for the contest. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
- JUDGING
The Grand Prize-winning pet photo will be selected by the photo receiving the most votes. If there is a tie, judges from CASAS and the Provincetown Brewing Co. will select the winning entry. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, an alternate potential winner may be selected from the next non-winning, eligible top vote-getter.
- WINNER NOTIFICATION
The winners will be notified via the email address provided during entry. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to the alternate winner that received the next highest amount of votes.
- PRIZE AWARDING
Winner of the label contest will be announced on September 17th at a kickoff party for Provincetown’s Pet Appreciation Week at the Provincetown Brewing Company.
- PRIZES
The winning pet will also receive a case of the special edition brew with their pet on the label. Special prizes also will be awarded to the pets placing in second and third place.
