Why you should vote for this non-profit
We are a grassroots organization that serves the homeless populations of both Columbus, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky. Our focus is helping others with hygiene items, socks, clothing, and food. We came up with the inspiration for Fleur's Dream in New Orleans while on vacation and saw the amounts of homeless individuals and teenagers in the city. We have had two events in NOLA and alternate large monthly homeless outreach events in Louisville and Columbus. During Covid, our Columbus group went out weekly from March to July and every two weeks from July to December. Since we are a small local outreach, we rely on donations from others to continue our mission. Every penny donated goes back into purchasing items for the homeless populations we serve.
