Chance of a Lifetime Dachshund Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer and foster based dog rescue. We service the east coast of the United States. Our rescue is named after one of our co-founders dachshunds, Chance. Chance was a paralyzed abused case who was passed around to a number of foster homes until settling and eventually becoming part of his forever family. His family never stopped believing in his willingness to walk again, and because of their faith in him, Chance did eventually regain his ability to walk. In honor of Chance’s story, Chance of a Lifetime Dachshund Rescue’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dachshunds and other small breeds, specializing in seniors and special needs dogs.
