A little about me...

Lil Debbie was found in someone’s yard in horrible shape. She was starved to death weighing only about 6 pounds and taken to the shelter. Chapman's Dachshund Rescue was asked to help Debbie, I went to pick her up and kept her as my foster knowing she had a long road ahead of her. Fast forward just one month later, Debbie has gained over 2 pounds and strong enough to have her much needed dental surgery and mass removal on her chest. She has overcome so much and is resilient. Debbie is the reason I rescue...and gives me the faith to continue to foster.
