Submit your pet’s photo to be voted on by our judges for a spot as pet of the month in our 2017 Cheyenne Animal Shelter Photo Contest. Friends and family can vote for your pet’s photo online to win other fun prizes!
The entry fee is $25 per photo, which includes one copy of the full-color calendar (you may pick up at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter in September). Oh yeah, did we mention that all qualified entries will appear in the calendar?
All proceeds from the Cheyenne Animal Shelter Photo Contest help us provide food, shelter and medical attention for the over 5,000 pets that come through our doors each year.
Here’s the Lowdown
- Once you’re submitted your photo, it will be eligible for the staff judging portion to choose the featured monthly pets for the 2017 calendar. It will also appear in the online gallery and be open to voting by the public. Entries sent by mail will appear online within 48 hours of receipt.
- One photo will be selected by a panel of judges as a full-page, featured monthly pet (month to be determined) in the 2017 calendar. All eligible photo submissions will appear in the calendar, either as inset squares on the monthly calendar pages or in the collage pages.
- The top 5 photos with the most public votes will be awarded with other great prizes.
- Votes are $1 each with a minimum of $5 for five votes. All votes are tax deductible.
- Votes will be tabulated and displayed online.
- It is possible to be a winner in both the staff judging portion and the public voting portion of the contest.
PUBLIC VOTING PORTION PRIZES
All photo submissions are entered into the online gallery, where participants may raise funds in order to get votes for their pet’s photo! Grand Prize:
- Two (2) Tickets to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter FurBall – April 8th 2017
- Your entry photo will be featured on one of the months of the 2017 calendar.
2nd Place:
- One (1) Cheyenne Animal Shelter jacket
- Your entry photo will be featured on one of the months of the 2017 calendar.
- A $50 gift certificate to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter retail store.
3rd Place:
- A $50 gift certificate to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter retail store
*In the event that a photo submission is selected as a featured pet of the month, and wins one of the top five spots in the public voting portion, the entrant will be asked to provide another photo for inclusion on the inside of the cover of the calendar.
