About Us

Chap's Chow Rescue and Chow-Chow Rescue of Central New York are 501c3 non-profits and operate by using foster homes. We rescue and re-home abused, abandoned, neglected, unwanted or homeless Chow-Chows (and occasionally other breeds), and place them in loving homes. We search for homes where the quality of life will ensure a long safe happy healthy lifestyle.

The rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for known medical problems prior to adoption. Our dogs are adopted to thoroughly screened homes which includes a comprehensive application and home check.

We count on donations from fellow dog lovers to continue our mission.
