A little about me...
After fostering several dogs, I realized my PetConnect adoptee, Tucker, loved having a doggie companion, so when Lucy popped up on our City Dogs Rescue website, I thought she'd be perfect. Many people mistake them for twins, in fact, though they're several years apart in age.
Lucy was surrendered before her first birthday, and was described as being "too playful" for the owner's family. I never comprehended that--puppies ARE playful, after all! She came from a shelter in the western part of VA.
The two pups are very different from one another: Tucker is calm and thoughtful, and Lucy is excited and, well, playful. They're bonded, of course, after almost 6 years together, and they both do well with my two 12-year old cats as well.
I'm so lucky to have them as "family"!
