A little about me...
In April of 2019, we lost our beloved CDR Alum Tito. For a long, long time, we weren't ready to welcome a new dog into our family - but then the pandemic hit. We saw Parker's sweet face come across our phones, and then read his story - his elderly human had to go into a nursing home, and her very loved boy wound up in the Roane Shelter. We agreed to FTA Parker, and the moment we saw him at intake we knew this boy would heal (and steal) our hearts. He is the most loving and beloved pup, with his own 5 year old hooman sister. His favorite things to do are nap, give stinky kisses, chase squirrels, and go for the sniffiest walks. We often think about how difficult surrendering him was to his former owner, and hope she knows that he found the softest place to land, where he knows nothing but love, belly rubs, and treats.
