A little about me...
On a hot summer day in July 2021, I met Tilly at what is now our home away from home, Kingsman Dog Park in northeast DC. I went into the meet and greet prepared to foster this little muffin until she could find her furever home. When we met, I could tell she was full of life even though her outer appearance may have shown otherwise. She was suffering from separation anxiety from her recent pups, malnutrition, mange, a skin infection, and 3 types of bacteria living her in ears. But after 6 weeks of hugs, love, antibiotics, and treats, I knew I couldn’t give her up when the adoption application came in. She was stuck with me.

Now Tilly is well on her way to recovery. Though we continue to learn about health concerns, she is still showing that exuberance I saw when we first met. She is my hiking partner, belly rub snuggler, drinking buddy, and food taste tester. My ride or die 💕🐶
