A little about me...
Cookie (fka Crouton) was rescued from the shelter in Galax VA. She spent 7 months with a loving foster in DC but would never socialize. She hid all the time and only came out at night. She was returned to a foster(and eventual adopter) in Galax to see if country life might suit her better. Cookie spent 3 months living behind a refrigerator, coming out at night for food. Gradually, over a year’s time she became more and more brave and much more social. Now, she is the queen of the foster kitties and welcomes all who arrive. She constantly begs for belly rubs and she has a “fluffy” body because she really likes to steal kitten chow!
