Grand Animal of the Chippewa Valley will serve as the Grand Marshall for the
78th Annual Kid’s Doll and Pet Parade, being held on Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. in Owen Park, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Grand Animal of the Chippewa Valley is an on-line, vote-driven popularity contest to raise funds for the Clear Water Kiwanis Club in support of local programs that benefit children and youth. The mission of Kiwanis is to improve the lives of all children, one child, one family, one community at a time. The contest is open to all animals and toys, not just dogs or cats. Goats, horses, turtles, teddy bears, dolls, sheep, pigs, etc. are all eligible to become the
Grand Animal of the Chippewa Valley.
The only requirement is that the announced winner (May 28) be free to lead the Doll & Pet Parade on Saturday, May 31. Prize
- The winner will serve as the Grand Marshall of the 2025 Doll and Pet Parade.
How Do I Enter?
Go to the official website page at (
gogophotocontest.com/clearwatergrandanimal) and follow the directions; there is no fee to enter.
- Upload your entry's photo as directed on the website.
- Photo of entry only, no people.
- Photo needs to be sharp and in focus.
- Include a short statement as to why your entry is the grandest.
- Include your contact information (name, phone number, email) to be used if you are the contest winner.
Entries accepted until May 27
th. Winner to be announced May 28
th.
How is the Winner Selected?
Entry receiving the most votes in the contest wins. Voting will start on April 19.
- To vote go to the secure website at (gogophotocontest.com/clearwatergrandanimal) between April 19 and May 27.
- Each vote is $1.00.
- Vote as often as you wish. For example, if you wish "Pete the Python" to get 50 votes, your payment would be $50.00.
- You can vote for multiple entries, but each vote is $1.00.
All monies raised will be used locally for projects in the Chippewa Valley.

Some of the projects Clear Water Kiwanis supports include North High School Scholarships, E-tablets for autistic students, Family Resource Center, Feed My People, Children's Museum of Eau Claire, Wisconsin Logging Museum (formerly Paul Bunyan Museum & Camp), Girls on the Run, LE Phillips Memorial Public Library, Community Table, Power of Perception, etc.
