Eku is a 6 1/2 year old Male Shiba Inu. Shiba Inus are unique dogs dating back almost 5000 years to their beginnings in Japan. This ancient breed is also known as the "cat dog" because they often exhibit cat like traits such as cleaning their paws, aloofness and intense curiosity. Though Eku is of Japanese ancestry he is still a Maui Boy and loves going to the beach, hiking in Iao Valley and cruising in the car with the windows down!
