Pet's Story or Bio
Daphne was rescued from a shelter in Tennessee and came with heartworm. The treatment almost killed her. That reaction apparently created cysts on her spine for which she had surgery in 2012. Unfortunately they were wrapped around her spine leaving her unable to stand on her own for a year. She went to physical therapy which enabled her to walk again. Last year she started having a problem walking again and was fitted for a cart which she loves. She still goes to physical therapy every Wednesday which keeps her going.
