Pet's Story or Bio
Calie is a Copper Country Humane Society rescue. She's 11 years old and from day one she's been the best dog we've ever had. In 2015 she was viciously attacked by 2 dogs in our front driveway. Unknowingly at the time, she was blocking these 2 dogs from attacking our then 2 year toddler who was playing in the yard. She suffered many injuries to her neck and groin (big lump on her neck is scar tissue) but she survived and now lives every day to protect. She loves the beach! Spends her time trying to catch birds. Never happens.
