Photo Guidelines:
- Photos of cats, dogs, horses, small mammals and birds are accepted.
- Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from the CAAS to enter.
- Photos must contain only pets – NO humans.
- Photos should be in focus and of high quality.
- Photos must be high resolution (we recommend at least 6MB or higher).
- Photos must be in .JPEG format.
- Photos must not be altered, other than minor contrast, brightness, etc.
Photo Submissions:
- Only one photo submission per entry fee is allowed.
- You may submit as many entries as you like, but they must be of a different pet.
- Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, obscene, etc, as determined by CAAS, will be removed from the contest with no refunds.
- Once entered, photos become the property of the CAAS and may be used for print and marketing purposes.
- The online submission AND voting period begins on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. CST and ends on Monday, September 3rd, 2018 at 10 p.m. CST.
- The preferred entry method is online, however entries can be submitted by MAIL (P. O. Box 616, Corinth MS 38834) or in person (3825 Proper Street, Corinth, MS 38834). The deadline for photos entered by mail or in person is August 29, 2018. Those submitted photos by mail or in person will appear online for voting within 48 hours of receipt. Please include with your photo submission a note with your name, phone number, your pet's name and a brief description of the pet attached to the back of your photo. Do not write directly on the photo. Photos will not be returned and become property of the CAAS.
Contest Fees:
- Each entry is $15.
- Each vote is $1 with a five ($5) vote minimum.
- All fees are non-refundable and considered tax deductible donations to CAAS.
Friend of the Shelter Sponsor:
Reserve a day to honor your animal. Your animal's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $25. Each Friend of the Shelter Sponsor will receive one calendar.
