Rules

Cover Dog Rules 2021:

  • Open to all Tucson area residents over the age of 18
  • Photo must be high-resolution and you must have all copyrights
  • Photos must be of only one dog, no additional animals or humans please
  • Photos should be unaltered beyond the basic cropping
  • You may enter as many of your owned dogs as you like
  • Dog must be available for a photo shoot with Tucson Lifestyle Magazine in the month of March. If your dog is the winner and you are not available for the photo shoot, Tucson Lifestyle will select an alternate winner.
  • The top 10 dogs based on online votes will move on to judging where a winner will be chosen by our panel of judges.
  • By participating in this contest, all participants release Tucson Lifestyle, Humane Society of Southern Arizona and any additional sponsors from any and all liabilities associated with the contest.
  • By participating in this contest, all participants grant Tucson Lifestyle, Humane Society of Southern Arizona and other sponsors the right to publicize (through print, broadcast, internet, etc) and/or broadcast a contestant's name, character, likeness, and the fact that she or he has participated in or won the "Tucson Lifestyle Cover Dog" Contest, without compensation.
  • By participating in this contest, the winner grants Tucson Lifestyle, Humane Society of Southern Arizona and other sponsors the right to use his or her name and photo on the Tucson Lifestyle May 2021 cover, within the issue, and in any promotions for the issue, including commercials, ads and posters, without compensation.
  • We reserve the right to deny entry or remove a participant at any time.
  • The decision of the judges is final.
