Milo & I met when he was a 'semi-stray' at my daughter's office complex, where he had been living (on their porch) and dearly loved for years. Shortly after I met him, he was turned in to CRAN as a stray., and all our hearts were broken, thinking he had just disappeared. A friend saw his picture in the newspaper from CRAN advertising him as adoptable, & sent it to me as a joke because of his name & my love of the actor Milo Ventimiglia. I recognized him immediately as our missing Milo, put in an application online that Saturday, and by Friday my daughter and I & Milo were re-united. I will have had him 2 years this September, and although he remains on alert when new voices or people are detected, he is a lovable ball of fur with a disability that keeps him from walking as well as he could otherwise. But he loves to play regardless, and makes me smile every day!
