CRITTER CRUSADER'S SURFIN' INTO SUMMER PHOTO CONTEST RULES


Contest is open to everyone 13 year of age or older.


Contest begins on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time and ends on Sunday, July 19th at 9:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Contest using any of the following methods: Online


Online: This method of entry will be available by visiting our website and following the directions provided to fill out the entry information, and submit.

An entry fee donation of $10 is required to enter the contest. All votes require $1 per vote donation. All entries become the property of Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids.

Submit your best photo of your furry, feathered or finned family member. We encourage you to submit photos of multiple pets and pets beyond.

You may enter the same subject(s) multiple times in different photos, and you may enter as many photos/pets as you would like, but votes will not be combined across multiple entries of the same subject(s).

Please only animals – no human faces (arms, hands and legs are OK)

Photographs may be color, black and white, or sepia toned. We cannot accept photos with digital overlays, photo sticker, doodles or any digital effects.

No professional or copyrighted photos will be accepted.

Photographs must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet's owner to submit their pet's image.

If you submit a photo to the contest, you can email links to your family and friends to encourage voting for your photo. On your pet's public page, there are links for sharing your pet on social media. Ask all of your friends and family to vote for your favorite photo and Share! Share! Share!

All entries are subject to review, editing, and removal by Critter Crusaders. We reserve the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the animal(s) in photo.


Donations made in support of an animal are valued at one vote for every $1.00 donated. All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.

There is no limit to the number of votes one may cast for the duration of the contest. We encourage you to share your photo submission with friends and family.

You may vote for your own photo(s).

Contest votes are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.

Contest donations are processed by a secure payment processor. You can donate using all major credit cards and Visa and MasterCard debit cards.


First Place
$100 Visa gift card, $50 PetSmart gift card

Second Place
$50 Visa gift card, $25 PetSmart gift card

Third Place
$25 Visa gift card, $25 PetSmart gift card


The potential winners will be notified by email, mail, or phone.


In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, the Sponsor may either (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Contest and, in the event of termination, award the winner from among the eligible entries received up to the time of impairment.

Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives and volunteers from and against any claims or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
