During the 1950s and 1960s, an annual Christmas decoration contest was held throughout our city and The Friends of the Danbury Museum & Historical Society are excited to revive and update this Danbury tradition of long ago.

Decorate Danbury for the Holidays, is a fun, festive and nostalgic year-end appeal to the residents, businesses and non-profit organizations of our hometown. This final fundraiser of 2014 will help The Danbury Museum & Historical Society continue with their important mission to acquire, preserve, exhibit and interpret the history of our great city!

Show us your Danbury pride and your holiday spirit!  Here's what you need to do:

• Decorate your home, office or place of business
• Take a great photo (interior or exterior shot)
• Submit, Upload and Enter the Decorate Danbury for the Holidays Photo Contest Online
• Get your friends, family, neighbors to vote!

For a minimal and tax-deductible entry fee, you can be part of the fun and then get all of your friends to vote for you! Everyone who casts a vote will also be making a tax-deductible year-end contribution to the museum in support of our efforts. (Official Rules)
