Pet’s Story
In our family of 5 cats, Charlie is the "quarterback" - the sweet, athletic brother who is the biggest of the bunch and loves to play! From the first time we saw his baby picture on the Dubuque Regional Humane Society website we knew he was destined to become part of our family. He looked just like our niece's beloved stuffed cat, who was also named Charlie! We brought him home at 8 weeks old on September 1st, 2022 along with his two adopted sisters, Coco and Loki. His human Daddy, Jeff, passed away in February 2023 and the entire family grieved his loss. But Charlie remained the most affectionate boy. We moved into an apartment in July 2025 and while Mommy was out of town working, Charlie caught his ear on something. Mommy was sad but Charlie's human stepdad says it makes him look tough. ☺️
