Denver Dog Days is all about celebrating our city’s vibrant dog-loving community—and we think it’s only right that a local pup gets the spotlight. Whether they’re goofy, glamorous, or full of grit, we’re looking for the ultimate good boy or good girl to represent the fun, heart, and personality of our annual event.

- Rally your friends to vote — each vote is a donation to Soul Dog Rescue, an incredible organization working to reduce pet overpopulation and support underserved communities through spay/neuter, education, and adoption.

- Lead the Pup Parade at the event

Denver Dog Days Mascot Photo Contest – Official Rules
Entries:
Submit a photo of your dog and make a $10 donation to Soul Dog Rescue through the official contest site.
- Each photo entry must only include one dog
- You can enter multiple dogs but not the same dog more than once.
- No humans are allowed in the entry photographs.
- Dogs must be living to be eligible for the mascot contest.
- All dogs entered must reside in the Denver Metro area.
- All donations from entries are non-refundable.
- All photos must be uploaded digitally through the official contest platform.
- Printed photos are not accepted.
- Photos must be taken by the entrant — no professional or copyrighted images will be accepted.
Submission Window:
Entries will be accepted from 8:00:00 AM (Mountain Time) on Monday, May 19, 2025 through 9:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Content Guidelines:
Photos containing any content deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene—as determined solely by Denver Dog Days organizers—will be disqualified without a refund.
Eligibility:
Each dog may be entered only once in the contest.
- Submitting multiple photos does not increase your dog’s chances of winning.
Winners:
- The Top Dog (mascot winner) will be selected based on the highest number of votes received during the voting period, as tallied by the contest software.
- Additional runner-up prizes and calendar features may be awarded to top-voted entries.
Tax Receipt:
IMPORTANT – Your confirmation email following the donation serves as your official tax receipt. Please save it for your records.
