Contest Entry

It is Free to enter your pet in Dharma Rescue's online photo contest. You must upload a photograph of your pet and a bio about it. Participants are encouraged to share their pets' social media accounts, such as Instagram and Facebook.
Participants can then vote on the photos for a chance to win a spot in the 2027 Handicapable Pin-ups calendar. There is no entry fee, but each vote costs $1.
In the handicapable category, animals must be disabled/impaired in some way, including deafness, blindness, diabetes, Cushing's disease, and other immune issues. Categories are for dogs, cats, and others.
The Supporting Friends category is open to all dogs, cats, and others.

Photo Requirements

Please ensure your pet is the focus of the image, as no people will be included in the calendar.
Photos must be high-resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing).
We may need to ask for new photos if the ones in the contest aren't large enough.
We cannot accept photos with digital overlays, photo stickers, doodles, or digital effects. Copyrighted photos may only be included with the written permission of the copyright holder.
Dharma Rescue reserves the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you.
Dharma Rescue has final approval of all submitted photos and reserves the right to replace an animal's photograph to address production issues.
If the calendar company cannot use a picture due to resolution issues and cannot correct it, we will contact the owner of the picture to send another picture with the correct resolution or size. If we cannot reach the person after 2 weeks, we will have to pick another winner for the calendar.

Contest Voting

There is no entry fee.
Each vote is $1.
There is no limit to how many times a participant can vote
