Dogapalooza began as part of a dog-themed art exhibition at OMAM in 2012, and has grown to become an annual dog-friendly festival fundraiser for local animal charities. Reimagined to keep everyone healthy and safe, Dogapalooza 2021 will feature an online photo costume contest for both dogs AND cats! The photo with the most online votes will determine the "People's Choice" winner. Our celebrity judges, Hailey Nolin and Django Valentine, will review all of the photos submitted online and will select winners for Best Original Costume, Best Ensemble Costume, Best Holiday Themed Costume, and Best Pet/Person Look-a-Like, in addition to a few surprise categories.


Our Dogapalooza 2021 Photo Costume Contest is open to dogs AND cats. Upload a photo of your pet, pay the $5 entry fee, and then invite your family and friends to vote online by sharing your contest link through email/social media. $1 = 1 vote! All net proceeds benefit Great Dawg Rescue of Ormond Beach, Halifax Humane Society and Sophie's Circle. The contest opens Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Online voting can begin as soon as the photo is registered and will close at noon (12:00 p.m. EST) on Friday, January 22nd. Winners will be announced on January 23, 2021.


The canine with the most online votes will win an original resin art piece by Hailey Nolin. The feline with the most online votes will win an original watercolor pet portrait painting (5x7) by ​Lisa Argentieri. All category winners will receive a voucher for a delicious Donnie’s Donuts 4-pack (plain so it’s safe for the doggies to eat too)
