Prizes:
The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entrants that get the most votes. The grand prize winner (the pet with the highest votes) will win the coveted cover photo for Calgary’s Top Dog 2024 calendar! The 2nd - 13th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month in the calendar.
The top 13 pets with the highest votes will have their pet professionally photographed (session valued at $195) by Dog Gone Art Photography for the 2024 calendar
The highest voted pet will win the grand prize of:
The coveted Calendar cover photo of Calgary's Top Dogs 2024 calendar and an additional page in the calendar (for the month of January of the following year as the calendar covers 13 months - 2024 plus Jan 2025)
a professional pet photography session
an 8 x 10 inch mounted and laminated print plus a $500 print credit towards wall art of photos from their photography session.
The next top 12 entrants with the next highest votes will get a spot in one of the 12 months of the 2024 Calgary’s Top Dogs Calendar and a $200 credit towards wall art of photos from their photography session.
Mini Contest Prizes
During the 8 weeks of the calendar contest, there will be mini-contests and a prize each week. One pet with the highest number of new votes for a particular week will win a mini-contest prize from one of the supporting businesses. Prizes will be announced each week.
Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet
Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
