Pet's Story or Bio
I rescued Isabelle from the Fredericksburg SPCA in 2011. At 6 months old, she was found wandering along the side of the road unspayed, with a collar. I had originally gone to the SPCA to meet a dog I had found on their website. He wanted nothing to do with me...and neither did the next 3 dogs I met. As I was walking out, I passed by Isabelle's kennel and she ran right up to me, wearing the same smile you see in the picture. She was barking and running back and forth, jumping on the kennel wall. It was love at first sight! Turns out, that day she had been put on the floor following the mandatory 10 day isolation period after intake. It was meant to be! I took her home 3 days later. Her birthday is Halloween and she'll be turning 5 this year. Every year on her Adoption Day and her Birthday, she is treated to one of Dog Krazy's special birthday cakes or woofie pies! They are her favorite! She looks forward to it every year, and I am looking forward to it for all the years to come!
