Photo contests starts on September 18, 2015 at 12:01am EST and ends on October 11, 2015 at 9:00pm EST.
Starting September 18, 2015, participants will be able to upload a digital photo of their dog and share a brief story about their pet. Voters will be casting ballots for not only the pet's photo but also for their story, so tell us what makes your pet special or if adopted why you adopted them. In order to assure a high quality calendar, please submit a high resolution photo.
All entries must be digital photos, color, and contain well-focused images in JPG format. Photos must be in of good quality and high resolution (300dpi or higher), remember, top 12 will be printed in a calendar. Dog Krazy reserves the right to request substitute photo if image is deemed not suitable for enlargement.
The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entries that get the most votes. Posting multiple photos of the same pet will only split votes among the photos. Also the same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots in the calendar by the same pet will not be permitted. So pick your single favorite photo and write a good story to go along with it!
Photos must be of the dogs only, no humans.
Dog Krazy reserves all rights to the photos submitted.
We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph on the photo contest website for any reason.
All donations are non-refundable.
Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site. We cannot accept hard copies of photo entries and payments in person at Dog Krazy.
The top 12 photos will be used in our "The Krazy Dogs of Fredericksburg" calendar and the top prize will receive not only the cover of the calendar but a $100 gift certificate to Dog Krazy and five free calendars to give out to your family and friends.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Dog Krazy and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
All photos submitted must be your own dog. Submitting photos of dogs that do not belong to you is not allowed.
The top 12 dogs will receive one copy of the calendar after publication.
