Pet's Story or Bio
Jack & Goldie are my Golden Retrievers. They are rays of sunshine in my life and you can't help but smile when they greet you with those beautiful smiles and tails wagging. I adopted both Jack and Goldie as puppies.
When I first met Jack, I asked to see him. He was handed to me, then snuggled into my arms and fell asleep. I knew he was gentle soul and so eager to please. His expressive eyebrows and big smile have convinced many a stranger to buy him a treat from any number of pet shops, including Dog Krazy. Not surprising that his charisma and personality helped him get his AKC Canine Good Citizen certification and became a registered therapy dog.
When I first saw Goldie, she was among a half dozen other puppies running around playing. I knelt down and she separated herself from the pack of pups and ran straight towards me with a wild look in her eyes and leaped into my arms, which was love at first leap for me. Months later at 65 lbs, she still made it a habit of running towards me and jumping into my lap, which well, could be breathtaking to say the least at her size. After being startled, each time she did it, I laughed because of how happy she looked as she did it and it was just contagious laughter. At 10, she doesn't do this anymore, but it still brings a smile to my face when I think about it. She can still jump high in the air for a frisbee, especially when competing with Jack for it.
Goldie and Jack are the sunshine on a rainy day and fill my heart with love each and every day. I am so lucky I adopted them & they adopted me!
