Pet's Story or Bio
Jag (left) is turning 15 at the end of the month and Jewel (right) is 9. Both have grown a friendship that is unbreakable even with their physical struggles. Jag has cancer and is in his last months, is partially deaf and blind in one eye. While Jewel was found in Caroline County back in 2010 with a severe case of Heart-worm and Lyme disease. She has recovered as much as possible, but we also found out she has 2 pins in her left front leg so she can only be so active. Together though these two accepted each other from the beginning even though neither of them were very trusting of other dogs. Today, you will usually find them like this, laying on "their" love seat together just passing the day by. They are stunning examples of a misunderstood breed who are loving, sweet, and part of a very full family (both furry and human).
