This is Alfie and Nugget (12 and 10). I've had Alfie since he was 3 and I cannot imagine anyone ever giving up such a goofy, affectionate, happy-go-lucky guy. He's the best. Nugget was a foster fail. I've had him for 4 years. He is the most difficult dog I've ever had, as he hates just about everyone but me. He is so fearful but loves me fiercely, tolerates his brother, and I could not picture life without him. I have so many pics of them but this one is of the first time they 'interacted peacefully' and I almost screamed for joy! Now they are true brothers. They curl up and nap together in the dog bed, play tug-o-war over Lambie.. my boys.
