We rescued Pilgrim thanks to John on Thanksgiving weekend 4 years ago. He had been purchased in haste and the young owner couldn’t handle him. Through a Yonkers shelter where John was volunteering he came to us - the trainer who works with the shelter actually drove him down for us to meet him - and the rest was history. It was love at first sight!. Originally haling from Massachusetts. and dressed in black and white he practically named himself. We had been looking for a rescue, boxer, puppy, female for almost 2 years to join our family after our last dog [Stella, also a boxer] died at 15! We got 3 out of 4 and couldn’t love him any more. we are eternally grateful to John introducing us!!
