Leonard was found as a stray in the city of Syracuse. While spending time at the most amazing Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter, Leonard was brought in very scared and nervous, and attached himself to me immediately. This little quirky guy decided no one else was for him so he allowed very few people to get close to him while he was in the shelter. We spent only a couple of short hours together on that first day and didn't expect him to remember me the following week. But when I arrived the following week and he heard my voice before seeing me, he went from a curled up scared mess to whining with excitement and pure joy. I knew I couldn't leave him behind because this boy literally chose me. He's been the love of my life, velcro boy, every since. Can't imagine life without him ❤️
