Pet's Story or Bio
In October of 2014, my husband took me on a late anniversary trip. We had to go to talk to the owner of our cabin and there was this sweet little dog I assumed was theirs. He had such sad eyes though and it bothered me. We had to visit again and the owner saw me petting him and informed me he was a stray and we were welcome to take him. I looked at my husband and he knew what I wanted. We visited a vet in a nearby town and got a pill to kill fleas, gave it to him, then scooped him up when we left to go home. It took him a while to trust and he was a loner, spending his time mostly in our living room. But over time, many walks and LOTS of affection, we have won him over and he loves us back. We try to take him on trips like you see in the picture and make his life fun and interesting. He is mommy's sidekick and we spend as much time together as we can. I thank God every day for bringing this sweet little guy into my life.
