Welcome to the 2022 Santa Paws Photo Fundraiser! The Dripping Springs Lions Club is excited to kick-off our first Santa Paws Top Dog photo contest that raises funds for worthy community causes and scholarships. The DS Lions Club supports the local community with scholarships to the Dripping Springs High School students, support of the Texas Lions Camp, a free residential camping facility for children with physical disabilities, type 1 diabetes and cancer. We make supporting contributions to many community organizations, provide free Vision Screening and participate in Service Projects. All the funds earned through this contest are put back towards your community.
It's easy to participate! Calling all Hays County residents — Submit your favorite photo of your Top Dog, then get your family and friends to vote for your pet's picture. There is a $5 entry fee. Remember this is a holiday event so show your holiday cheer! View contest rules for more details.
Voting is easy and fun and open to everyone. Votes are $1 each. Each dollar donated equals an equivalent number of votes. (A $5 donation equals 5 votes, a $10 donation equals 10 votes, etc.) Proceeds benefit the Lions Club community contributions and is designated 501(c)(4) charity, making all donations toward voting in the contest tax deductible. You can vote as often as you like during the contest. You can apply all your votes to one photo or vote for multiple photos during the contest.
For the best chance to win, be sure to spread the word about your dog's entry into the contest. Ask family and friends to go online and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE for your photo. You can use the sharing buttons that appear on your dog's photo page to share your photo entry with your Facebook friends. And you can email links to family and friends to encourage voting for your top dog's photo. This will help you receive the votes for your photo(s) while helping us raise donations to support the Dripping Springs community!
Contest begins 8:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Friday, October 21, 2022 and runs through midnight (Central Time) on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
