Your Pet's Bio/Story
April was adopted at 9 weeks old from Every Creature Counts over twelve years ago. She is a mutt -- Australian Shepherd and Lab mix. Full of personality, she is the family alpha to her dog siblings -- Hank, 9-year-old lab and Walter, 1-year-old chihuahua. She still herds our family and is quick to let us know when anyone is walking past the house. A sweet girl who is slowing down due to arthritis, she still has the energy of a much younger dog. We've enjoyed watching her change from solid black to swirls of gray around her eyes we affectionately call her "Starry Night" markings.
