Your Pet's Bio/Story
Scruffy had tragic beginnings as a severe cruelty confiscation case from NM. He found his way to me as a foster in need of rehab through a local rescue group. After fostering him for an extended time, I became his official guardian, and 10 years later, here we are! Though wary of humans, Scruffles is a guardian angel for all the other fosters who have found their way through this house. Together, Scruff and I have fostered 70+ dogs in the past decade, most in need of long-term physical and/or soul-healing. He is their mentor, guide, rule-enforcer and comfort-mama all rolled into one furry polka-dotted wrapping. In addition to being the perfect foster host, Sir Scruffykins is also a heroic guard dog. He stopped cold a burglary in process, and is known and respected throughout the neighborhood as The Constable.
