Your Pet's Bio/Story
A majestic 120lbs, Maximus has been by our side sharing life and leaving a well-earned impression of this noble breed. In Mexico his confidence and size was mesmerizing to the young Baja military checkpoint guards and being bilingual enabled elbowing in on some lunchtime sharing amongst neighborhood construction crews. Traversing the country Maximus turned heads at every stop for his size, obedience and calm nature. On one trip, hotel management was so enamored; he was “recruited” to perform front desk mascot duties. Maximus is a true "Dog's dog". Only sticks, balls and rocks are the quintessential toys. Athletic to the extreme, he is a gorgeous force of nature. Although not an alumnus, Maximus’ big sister from Dumb Friends inspired our love of German Shepherds and continued support for DDFL. Maximus’ playful spirit, loyalty and ability to discern ones emotional needs have been healing to the heart and soul of many.
