The East Haven Rotary Club is celebrating its 86th year. The East Haven Chapter was organized on March 3, 1939. Since that time, Rotarians have been involved in thousands of projects helping East Haven residents, and neighboring communities near and far.
The East Haven Rotary provides “Service Above Self” to local, state, national and international communities, with events such as, meal packing food relief efforts, Thanksgiving Dinner deliveries, our Clothe the Children campaign, and more.
Founded in 1905, Rotary International is recognized as the world’s first volunteer service organization. Today there are more than 1.2 million Rotarians in 34,000 Rotary Clubs, located in 200 countries around the world. Rotary International’s motto “Service Above Self” is the guiding principle as we focus our efforts on providing service within our communities and throughout the world.
We are excited to launch the Pet Photo Fun contest! This fundraiser will not only help us continue to offer staple programs like monthly scholarship awards to EHHS students, and Thanksgiving morning meal deliveries, but will help us grow our reach and expand support deeper into our community, neighboring communities, and beyond. With the passion to do more good, we count on supporters like you to help us move forward with new initiatives and more giving.
