About My Kitty
Max was rescued from outside of a neighbor’s home. Despite my efforts to place him into a home on behalf of the neighbor’s, things didn’t quite work out according to plan. I had had Max in my care trying to socialize him for adoption for about two weeks. I had found a person willing to give Max a chance at adoption. I told Max just before his new potential owner picked him up that if he didn’t like them to just let them know and that he would be brought back to me. Two weeks went by before I got a call from Max’s adopters. They said he wouldn’t eat or use the litter box and that he wouldn’t come out from underneath their couch. They wanted to return him.
Max was brought back to me. After they had left, I took him out of his carrier they had returned him in. He walked out and crawled right into my lap. I smiled and said, I told you Max that they would bring you back to me if you didn’t feel it was right. After that, I decided to keep Max. He is my “love bug” and he and I are inseparable.
