Rules

The contest opens at 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, June 30, 2025. The contest closes at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 28, 2025.
There is a $10 donation to submit a photo of your cat (or kitten). You can make as many submissions as you like for a $10 donation each. At the time of submission, you can also make an additional donation, if desired, that will benefit cats and kittens rescued by EBCP.
The contest is open to anyone 18 years of age and older
Please include the following information in your submission:
- Kitty contestant’s name
- Kitty contestant’s age (if known)
- Kitty contestant’s city and state
- Name of contestant’s human and their contact info
- Any special stories about the contestant - if they’re rescued, how you became their human, etc. (200 words or less)
Entries must be submitted by the kitty’s owner or with permission from the owner.
Please make sure the photo you submit is digital-only and high-resolution (300 dpi or greater). A photo taken with your cell phone would likely work perfectly! Scanned photos greatly reduce the print quality. Horizontal photos work best. When the contest ends, we may contact you to get a copy of the original photo to ensure we print a high-quality image. If we do contact you, please respond with your photo as soon as possible.
EBCP reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on questionable content
The winning entry will be decided by the number of votes and EBCP staff

You can also purchase a ‘day’ on the 2026 calendar for $15 to dedicate to your cat or a special cat in your life. Their photo will be printed on the day you choose in the calendar! (If the day hasn’t already been taken).
Calendars will be available for purchase for $25 each
