Favorite Activity to do Together
This may surprise you, but I absolutely LOVE going to the vet! In fact this picture of me was taken at the vet, where they named me as their honorary receptionist! Our favorite activity to do as a family is the Do-Chew/Don't-Chew game, which is where I (Bella) suggest something I think should be on the Do-Chew list (maybe a chair leg, or a rock, or somebody's toes, or Dad's pants, for example) and Mom and Dad tell me whether that's a Do-Chew thing or a Don't-Chew thing. (Seems like the Don't-Chew list is very, very long!) We also love playing the "Pig-in-the-Middle" game, which we learned in puppy school. That's where Mom and Dad stand very far apart with lots of treats in their pockets. They take turns calling me to "Bella, Come!" Then I run like the wind to whichever one called me and they give me treats and snuggles and tell me I'm a "Good Girl!" with over-the-top enthusiasm. Then the other one calls me, and I gallop back and get more treats and snuggles and "Your a Good Girl's." I've got the game down to a science now, so I don't wait for them to call me. I just go barreling back and forth as fast as I can -- more treats that way! When we get all tired out from playing, we love taking naps together and snoring loudly in 3-part harmony. I think maybe those naps are the best thing of all.
