I'm can tell you that 150 words are nowhere near enough to describe Trixie. What I can tell you is...of all the dogs I've ever owned, and currently own... I've loved them all, with all my heart, but Trixie was my soul dog. We had a connection, as kindred spirits...a dog that enters your life, once in a lifetime. Trixie was my constant companion on many, many misadventures. We traveled extensively around the country. She got to see and do more than most humans. From actual mountain peaks to cave exploring to kayaking lakes and open water. She saved my life twice in the wilderness. She did NOT like baths. She backpacked and camped with me at some of the most remote locations in this country. She is a dog missed. She was my best friend!
