Your Pet’s Story and How They Joined Your Family
Rosie was saved from Arlington Animal Shelter. Rosie was so scared in the shelter. She was given the opportunity to go into their foster program (Thanks to her wonderful foster!). Her first weekend, she was adopted... and returned the following Monday because she tried to nip her new owner. Poor baby was so scared. My son James wanted a dog of his own and we had been looking. So we were at the shelter to meet Rosie (then Cosita). She was scared, but I could tell she needed time. Since she had been returned, she was now urgent. She went home with us. I remember it was such a cold cold day. She spent 2 days getting love on the couch by James and they are the best of friends.
