About the FAPL Adult Coloring Book Fundraiser

Friendship APL is excited to introduce our Adult Coloring Book Fundraiser—a creative and meaningful way to support animals in need while celebrating the stories that make our work so special.

This one-of-a-kind coloring book is designed specifically for adults, blending relaxation, creativity, and real-life rescue stories into a unique, mission-driven experience. While many pages highlight heartwarming moments and adoptable animals, others take a more candid and humorous approach to the realities of animal welfare.

Inside, you’ll find a mix of:
  • Adoptable animals currently looking for their forever homes
  • Inspiring rescue stories that highlight second chances and transformation
  • FAPL alumni pets, submitted by our community and selected through a summer Pet Photo Contest
  • Relaxing, animal-themed designs and patterns created for an enjoyable coloring experience
  • Educational and expressive pages that reflect the real, unfiltered side of animal welfare

Some pages are thoughtfully designed with an older audience in mind and may include humor, candid messaging, or mild language that reflects the passion, challenges, and personality behind rescue work. This approach allows us to connect more authentically with adult supporters while still keeping the overall tone aligned with our mission.

Available Options

To make this fundraiser accessible to everyone, the coloring book will be available in multiple formats:

  • Printed Edition – A high-quality physical book perfect for at-home coloring or gifting
  • Digital Download – A printable version that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere

Both options will be available for purchase, with proceeds directly benefiting the animals at Friendship APL.

How It Helps

Every purchase of the coloring book helps provide critical care and support for the animals in our shelter. Funds raised will go toward:

  • Medical treatment and veterinary care
  • Daily sheltering and enrichment
  • Spay/neuter services
  • Adoption and placement efforts

More than just a coloring book, this project is a way for our community to be part of the lifesaving work happening every day.

Be Part of the Story

From featured pets to sponsor support, this fundraiser is built around the community that makes our mission possible. Whether you’re purchasing a copy, entering your pet in the contest, or simply sharing the project, you’re helping create brighter futures for animals in need.
