We’re thrilled to kick off our second annual photo contest, and we’re on the hunt for the most pawsome pet pics to fill our 2026 calendar! By joining the fun, you’re not just showing off your adorable companion—you’re also helping us rescue and rehome animals in need. Snap that perfect shot, rally your friends and family to vote, and your pet could be one of our calendar stars!
How to Enter:
- Submit a high-resolution photo of your pet.
- Pay the $10 entry fee.

Reserve a Day to Honor Your PetJust want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

Prizes
Grand Prize:
The photo with the most votes will be featured on the cover of our second annual PET PALS 2026 calendar. The winner will also receive a $100 gift card and two complimentary calendars.
Top 12 Winners:
The top 12 photos with the most votes will be featured as the main photo for one of the months in the calendar. Each winner will receive a complimentary calendar.
NEW THIS YEAR!
All winners will be invited to participate in a professional photoshoot in October!
Participation Prize:
All participants will receive a thank you email with a digital certificate of participation. If you are not in the top 13 winners, you will have the chance to have your pets photo fill a calendar square on any day of the year for
an additional donation of $15 (specific dates can be requested and are available on a first come/first served basis)
Rules
- Eligibility: Got a furry, scaly, or even finned friend you adore? This contest is open to all pet lovers! While we’re usually all about cats and dogs at Fayette Friends of Animals, we’re rolling out the welcome mat for all your beloved companions—be they snakes, lizards, fish, pigs, or any other critter! Just make sure you’re 18 or older to join in the fun.
- Entry Fee: Each photo entry requires a $10 donation.
- Photo Requirements:Keep it crisp! Photos should be high-res (300 dpi or higher) in JPEG or PNG format. Please, no watermarks, text, or logos—we want to see your pet shine!
- Submission Period: Entries will be accepted from 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 to 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
- Voting Period: Rally your friends! Voting will take place from 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 to 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
- Voting Fee: Each vote requires a $1 donation. There is no limit to the number of votes a person can cast. (a $5 minimum purchase equal to 5 votes is required)
- Prizes: The top 12 photos with the most votes will be featured in our 2026 calendar. The photo with the most votes will be on the cover.
- Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via email and announced on our website and social media pages by October 10, 2025.
- Usage Rights: By submitting a photo, participants grant Fayette Friends of Animals the rights to use the photo for promotional purposes.
- Heads up: Photos that don’t meet the requirements or are inappropriate will be disqualified—let’s keep it classy, folks!
