Top 12 Cats Get Illustrated — Every Entry & Vote Helps Felius Rescue Cats!
We're on a mission to raise money to sustain our life-saving rescue programs! These include operating our open-concept cat shelter, facilitating adoptions, providing free community cat supplies/services, and so much more!
Participating is easier than chasing a laser pointer! Upload your cat’s most iconic pose, then rally your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and even your barista to vote for your feline star. This year, we’re teaming up with talented local artists and illustrators! The top 12 cats will be featured in our calendar with a custom illustration created by one of these amazing artists. Plus, if your kitty makes the top 5, you’ll enjoy even more special perks!

- Entry Fees:
- $25 donation per photo entry (comes with 5 votes).
- $5 minimum donation per additional vote.
- $40 donation to reserve a calendar date for your cat.
- $35 to pre-order your copy of the 2026 calendar.
And the prizes? They're purr-iceless! - The top 12 cats will receive a custom illustration created by one of our hand-selected local artists, featured in the calendar month of their choice (based on ranking), plus a high-quality art print to frame.
- The Top 5 cats will also have their photo and name featured on their birthday or adoption date and receive two complimentary 60-minute Felius cat play sessions.

Prizes
The top 12 cats with the most votes will each receive:
- Custom illustration/artwork of the cat photo submitted, to appear in the calendar month of your choice (selected in order of final voting ranking)
- High-quality print of the final artwork for framing
Felius will select the artist for each winning cat. No proofs or revisions will be provided, and each artist will have full creative control over the style and final rendering.
The top 5 cats with the most votes will also receive:
- Free copy of the calendar
- Their cat’s photo and name featured on their birthday or adoption date in the calendar
- Two complimentary 60-minute cat play sessions at Felius

GENERAL RULES
- Only photos of cats will be accepted. Multiple cats can be included in the same photo.
- Photos must exclusively feature the cat(s) - no people allowed.
- It is NOT required that you adopted your cat from Felius to be eligible. We also accept out-of-state entries.
PHOTO QUALITY RULES
- Photos must be in full color.
- Heavily filtered, edited, or altered photos will NOT be considered.
- Any photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest.
- All photos submitted become the property of Felius Cat Cafe & Rescue.
ENTRY & VOTING RULES
- Photo entries can only be submitted during the contest period, starting 8:00 AM (Central Time) on Saturday, November 15, 2025 until midnight (11:59:59 PM Central Time) on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
- Only votes during the voting period starting 8:00 AM (Central Time) on Saturday, November 15, 2025 through midnight (11:59:59 PM Central Time) on Sunday, November 30, 2025 will be considered.
PRIZE RULES
The top 12 cats with the most votes will receive a custom illustration, featured in the calendar month of their choice (selected by ranking). Illustrations will be mailed to the address that you provide upon entry and will be mailed by 12/20.
Each of the top 12 winners will also receive a high-quality print of their illustration.
Felius will assign illustrators to each winner. No proofs or revisions will be provided. Artists maintain full creative control over the style and final rendering.
The Top 5 winners will also be featured on their cat’s birthday or adoption date in the calendar and will receive a complimentary 60-minute cat play session at Felius.
To be considered for any illustration prize, photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or higher) and in landscape (horizontal) format.
Cat play sessions or memberships won are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
